Seahawks vs Cowboys Odds – 2017 Week 16 NFL Betting Preview
Seahawks Seek Redemption vs. Elliott and Cowboys
You simply couldn’t have come up with a worse performance than the Seattle Seahawks registered last week against the Los Angeles Rams, and right now they are in a real battle for wild card position in the NFC. So it’s not the most convenient thing in the world that they have to face the Dallas Cowboys, who are going to have running back Ezekiel Elliott in the lineup once again after a six-game suspension. Kickoff for this game is 4:25 PM ET on Sunday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, and while Fox Network televises the game on a regional basis, BetAnySports customers will have the opportunity to place their wagers in real time as they take advantage of what is available through Live Betting Ultra.

Seahawks vs Cowboys Odds – Betting Preview
The Seahawks have been shy some defensive players, and they were beaten pillar to post by the Rams on their own home field last weekend. It was downright embarrassing, as the 42-7 final indicates the disparity. The Seahawks had 149 total yards and 11 first downs, at one juncture being down 40-0. And there were some words after the game between safety Earl Thomas and linebacker Bobby Wagner, who played despite an injury. All of that has to get cleared up for this team if they are going to move forward.
The Cowboys looked awful in their first three games without Elliott, who drew that controversial suspension from the NFL despite not being prosecuted in his native Ohio for the alleged domestic violence incident. Against Atlanta, Philadelphia and the Los Angeles Chargers, they scored 22 points combined, but have since come back to beat Washington, the New York Giants and Oakland. So like the Seahawks, they are sitting with an 8-6 straight-up record, and it goes without saying that the winner here will have the edge in any tiebreaker. Seattle is 5-8-1 against the football pointspread, while Dallas is 7-6-1 ATS.
Elliott is a difference-maker in a number of ways, including the fact that the other team’s defensive coordinator must account for him first and foremost. When he went on his suspension, he had 783 rushing yards and seven touchdowns. His presence allows Dak Prescott to exercise more play action, and that would certainly be welcome.
Another guy who’s very important is left tackle Tyron Smith, who had to leave last week’s game against the Raiders with what has been diagnosed as a sprained lateral collateral ligament. So there is no question that BetAnySports patrons want to check his status leading up to game time. When the Cowboys had to start Byron Bell in his place, or use another alternative, the results were disastrous.
And if you want to talk about difference-makers, let’s talk about linebacker Sean Lee, who has also missed time with injuries. The Cowboys have surrendered almost 19 more points and one more yard per carry without him in the lineup. So clearly they are happy to have their defensive team leader in tow.
Still, Seattle is a team that has to take some pride into this matchup. We refuse to believe that head coach Pete Carroll would let this locker room get out of control. It is true that cornerback Richard Sherman, strong safety Kam Chancellor and defensive and Cliff Avril are out, but maybe Wagner heals up a little and his fellow linebacker, KJ Wright can get back into action (he has been a full participant in practice). No, they don’t get a lot out of their running backs, but Russell Wilson might be able to do some business against a secondary that has allowed quarterbacks to register a cumulative 96.8 rating. Some of this could be enough for the Seahawks to keep this one very tight, or even to eke out a victory.
