Redskins Eagles Odds for MNF – 2017 Week 7 NFL Betting Preview
Well, the Washington Redskins had a rather close call last week against the San Francisco 49ers, although it should not have been. This team has given uneven performances, but one encouraging thing is that Kirk Cousins looks as if he’s rounding into some pretty good form. The Redskins will need all the offensive firepower they can get as they go into the City of Brotherly Love on Monday night to face off against the Philadelphia Eagles in a game that kicks off at 8:30 PM ET at Lincoln Financial Field. It’s going to be televised by ESPN, and while VietBet customers are watching it live, they can make real-time wagers very easily, using the apparatus of Live Betting Ultra.

Redskins Eagles Odds – MNF BETTING PREVIEW
Cousins, who had over 4900 passing yards last season, isn’t necessarily on that pace now, but he has gradually become more comfortable with offensive coordinator Matt Cavanaugh, to the point where he is completing 66.5% of his passes with only two interceptions, and he has been rather fortunate with his protection, as he has been sacked only eight times. Of course, the design of Jay Gruden’s offense is for him to make quick decisions and consequently to get rid of the ball quickly, which cuts down on sacks – at least ideally.
His opposite number is Carson Wentz, the second-year man out of North Dakota State who struggled a bit last season as a rookie, but has really made some strides for the Eagles this year. Wentz has been golden down the stretches of games, showing some real authority in the huddle. And he’s got a nifty 13-3 ratio of touchdowns to interceptions.
These teams have played before; in fact, the Eagles won the season opener by a 30-17 count, and in that game neither team really got much of a ground attack going. What handicapped the Redskins was that Cousins was still trying to get on the same page as Cavanaugh. It was no secret that Cousins and former offensive coordinator Sean McVay had a very close relationship and symbiosis, and one of the reasons the quarterback might go to another team in the off-season is that McVay departed. Cousins has had to work with a different crew of receivers as well, because Pierre Garcon and DeSean Jackson left, so there has been an adjustment, but he has found a real playmaker in Chris Thompson, a running back who has busted loose for some big runs and also leads this team in receiving yards, with 340. He is a threat every time he touches the football; there aren’t many running backs you’ll find you could average 19 yards a catch.
VietBet patrons have to give all the credit in the world to Wentz, who has directed the Eagles to 27.5 points per game and a 50.6% success rate on third down. The running attack has improved, behind LeGarratte Blount, who spent last season with the New England Patriots, and the acquisition of Alshon Jeffery has been beneficial, even though some people were a little worried about him during the pre-season. Nelson Agholor is no longer considered a first-round bust; the former USC standout is averaging 16 yards per reception and has scored four times on the other end of Wentz’s passes.
The defense is carrying its weight as well, behind estimable coordinator Jim Schwartz. They have allowed just 33% on third down, and despite a couple of injuries, their secondary probably rates the edge over Washington’s, as the Redskins might be sending Josh Norman out there rather banged-up.
