    The Syracuse Orange went into the NCAA Tournament having lost five of their previous six games, and there were a lot of people who were skeptical about their credibility as an at-large entry. They overcame a 16-point second-half deficit to defeat Virginia, and they did so by pressing on defense enforcing the Cavaliers to step up things offensively, which is not necessarily a strategy that is going to work against North Carolina, which likes an accelerated tempo to begin with.

    But Boeheim, who is in his fifth Final Four, and won the 2003 title with Carmelo Anthony, is not a man who cannot adjust to different situations.
